Whether your pet has a health concern or you’re thinking of becoming a pet owner, Chattyvet’s vets will answer any questions you may have.
Appointments at a veterinary practice can be a perilous adventure for both owner and pet. First, you have to find a time that fits your busy schedule. Which may mean taking time off work.
Then you have to find and transport your pet; a source of stress for both the animal and owner, especially as the nearest practice may be geographically far from home.
Chattyvet’s teleconsulting service will simplify your life and guarantee your peace of mind.
Getting in touch with a vet is easy. Just click on the link “chat with a vet now” and you’ll be automatically redirected to our platform.
Follow the prompts to create an account for yourself and your pet by providing basic information as well as choosing a payment method for your consultation.
You can then choose the day and time slot during which you would like the vet to contact you. You will receive an appointment confirmation by email, and the appointment will be visible in your Chattyvet profile.
Please note that no appointment will be confirmed if payment is not accepted.
The vets on our platform mainly treat dogs and cats, but can also answer any questions you may have about your small mammal.
Some vets may also be able to advise you on the health of your bird or reptile, so don’t hesitate to specify this when booking an appointment in the comments section.
Don’t worry, you can still talk to one of our vets. At the end of the appointment, you will automatically receive a consultation report. This report will be at your disposal and can be forwarded to your attending veterinarian if you wish.
Please note, however, that it may not be possible to obtain a prescription at the end of the consultation.
For more information, please refer to the section on prescription dispensing.
Our vets are available to answer your questions from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week.
If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, you can cancel your appointment up to 24 hours before it is due to take place. After this time, no refunds will be made.
If no veterinarian from the platform is available for the consultation, you will be automatically reimbursed.
Regulations concerning medical prescriptions for animals differ from canton to canton.
However, we can always answer your questions and give you the best possible advice.
Whether you are a pet owner or a veterinarian, you can cancel your account at any time.
To do so, simply send an e-mail to
- service-client@chattyvet.ch if you are a pet owner
- vet@chattyvet.ch if you are a veterinarian.
If you have any further questions about the platform or how to use it, please don’t hesitate to contact at contact@chattyvet.ch or fill in the form in the Contact us section.
We will do our best to answer your questions as quickly as possible. Please note that we do not answer medical questions at this address.
If you have forgotten to discuss an important point with the vet during your video interview, you can always send an e-mail via the contact form. No extra charge will be made.
Remember to specify the initial subject of the consultation in the subject line of your email.
Please note that this only applies if your question is directly related to the subject of the first consultation. No other questions of a medical nature will be dealt with.
If I hang up unintentionally during the video call, do I have to book another teleconsultation slot?
If you’re a pet owner and you’ve accidentally ended the video call, don’t worry, you can restart the consultation. Simply go back to your profile and click on the Enter Video button.
In order to avoid handling errors and to follow up your pets’ health at best, you cannot manually delete a pet profile.
If you wish to remove an animal that’s already been registered in your user profile, simply send an email to service-client@chattyvet.ch with your request.
Don’t hesitate to specify the reasons why you wish to delete this profile. Our technical team will take care of the rest.
This step is essential for the proper management of the files, especially the consultation reports.
